Our big differentiating factor is service. Our platform and included tools are plenty to get your web site up to the highest standards, and from there it’s all about customer service.
Let us do it for you
You need a web site. You want it to be fast, and always available. There are some business functions it needs to perform. Security and backups need to be managed. Someone needs to maintain the site, perform updates, monitor performance and tweak things if the site starts to slow down.
We do all that. We do it on WordPress which is the most popular web site software (43% of the world’s web sites run WordPress.)
We also do the day-to-day work you don’t want to do. Need to change a photo and caption on your Staff page? We’ll do that. Is there a PDF form that needs to be updated? Tell us where you want it. Need a new event added to the calendar? We do that too.
It’s all included, with reasonable limits on visitors, bandwidth, and CPU usage. We host on fast servers, and our servers have a really low population, so if you go from two thousand visits per day to two million, your site will keep on serving pages and we won’t turn you off or charge you extra like other web hosts do.
If you need more pages added, or information rearranged in a new way, or additional functionality added, we do that on request, but we charge by the hour for it.
Minor updates are included. Major changes cost extra, as they require more labor. See our FAQ below for more details.
Our concierge service is perfect when you need help
WordPress is simple and easy once you invest the time to understand it. For many this is a poor use of their time:
- Maybe you just want to replace a downloadable PDF with another. Would you rather remember how to log in, how to upload, then search for every reference to that PDF and update them manually? Or would you rather open a help desk ticket and ask us to handle it for you?
- Are you trying to do something and it’s just leading to more frustration? Why not ask us? If it’s something simple (once you have enough experience to know the trick) then it’s included in your hosting package.
- Want something complex? Maybe you need new pages created, or you want to evaluate and install a plugin to manage photo galleries or include a calendar on pages. Do you want to do that, or do you want us to do the grunt work in way less time and just bill you hourly?

It really comes down to time when comparing these, and that can be subjective. Generally, it’s fair to think of minor changes as edits, and major changes as adding new functionality to the web site.
Changing site colors, updating a logo, changing a link, making a PDF available, changing a bio, adding a video or a few new paragraphs to an existing page? All minor changes.
Installing a calendar system, creating (and possibly drafting) new pages, helping you integrate custom software or plugins? Those are major changes.
Major changes, of course, cost nothing if you do them yourself or have someone else perform them for you.
Month to month. If you’re unhappy, don’t renew the next month.
Most web hosts sell server resources – they buy CPU time, bandwidth, and storage in bulk, and they try to resell it for profit. What you end up with is servers packed full of users, with web sites shoehorned to maximize the density that server can handle.
Most web hosts think you are buying a web site, and strive to sell that to you cheaper than their competitors.
We think you are trying to solve a problem, and your web site is part of that goal. Wellbuiltnetworks is built around identifying, understanding, and solving your business problem efficiently, and doing so in a way that gives you full control over your data with no technological or legal lock-ins. To aid in this:
- We set up and optimize your site for you.
- We maintain your site by applying security updates, and monitor its performance so we’ll know if it needs re-optimization.
- We keep our servers at very low population, so if you see an unexpected and unprecedented spike in viewers your site will still be fast and responsive.
- If using a CDN increases the performance and user experience of your site, we install one for you (again, our reasonable limits policy applies. Storing your images on a CDN, or a short video with limited viewership is no problem; if instead you are in the business of distributing video then we will help you transition to your own CDN account.)
- If your web site needs additional tools to accomplish your goals, we install them for you (mostly) free of charge. If you need a page builder, we install the industry leading Elementor Pro free of charge. Caching plugins? We will install the best ones available (lsCache for LiteSpeed servers, and WP Rocket for Apache servers) and configure them for best performance. Do you need more blocks than Elementor Pro comes with? Essential Addons for Elementor likely has you covered, and we are licensed to install that as well. Image optimization? We have two solutions we include depending on your needs. We provide the essential components for the solution to your problem, rather than nickel and diming you for third-party addons that many WordPress users consider essential.
- We hold your hand. Need your website migrated? We can do that. Confused about how to solve a problem? We’ll help. Need minor changes done on your web site? We’ll handle it for you, as that’s included in your plan. Need to make DNS changes and you’re confused and terrified? We can remote control your computer and walk you through the process. You don’t need to be (or become) a web hosting nerd to use our service – we are web hosting nerds for hire!
- We are fanatic about our infrastructure, as our name implies. While nothing made by man is perfect, we work hard to design fast, reliable, resilient systems that maintain great performance and great uptime. We also have backups, on top of backups, on top of backups that are replicated to another physical location, and another round of redundant backups saved (encrypted) to a cloud service as well. We are very unlikely to lose your data, but it’s still critical that you maintain a copy of your data so we will work with you to make certain you always have the most recent copy of your web site by syncing our cloud backup to your personal (Google Drive or Onedrive) cloud-based storage solution. We hope you never need it, but if we get hit by a meteor you can get your site up and running on another host quickly.
- No contracts. We strive to be the best web host you have ever used, and we want to have to earn that. If you lose confidence in us over time, you can simply turn off billing renewals and you will not be billed when the current month’s hosting ends.
